You’ve met the love of your life, become engaged and chosen a wedding date. What happens next?
Make a Booking
You can call me on 0411 047 800, email me at , or send me an SMS to check my availability. Be sure to contact me as soon as you have a date as I take bookings for months in advance. I require a $200.00 deposit to secure the booking.
Let’s Meet Up
At our first meeting, we usually complete the Notice of Intended Marriage form and sight required legal documentation (see legalities) to ensure that aspect of the wedding process is taken care of well in advance.
And now for the fun part! We really get to know each other better. My friendly demeanour will put you at ease to ensure you are open and relaxed. I enjoy hearing about your love story, your journey, your engagement, and what makes your relationship so special and unique. We discuss every aspect of the ceremony imaginable from the theme, type, tone and length of the ceremony, to colour theme, music, vows, ceremony location, weather contingency plans and more. I supply you with many resources including sample ceremonies, vows, readings and music to ensure you have every detail sorted and every wish granted.
Designing your Ceremony
My experience in design and creative writing will ensure your ceremony is personal and unique in every way possible. I make lots of suggestions, provide resources (anything you need), consider your requests and design a ceremony that suits your personality, your location and your theme. I will keep in regular contact through email and ensure you are consulted every step of the way to produce a ceremony filled with warmth and happiness that will dazzle and delight you and your guests.
Let’s Meet Up Again / Rehearsal
About two weeks before or closer to your wedding day at a mutually convenient time, we meet again to ensure all legal papers have been sighted and official documents have been completed (see legalities). We usually have a rehearsal onsite at the ceremony location and take music, microphones, readings and any props being used to ensure everyone is comfortable and confident with proceedings.
Your Big Day
I will arrive at the venue at least 20 minutes prior to your ceremony. I will greet and co-ordinate the bridal party’s entrance, and ensure everyone with a role in the ceremony is briefed including readers, music assistants, ring bearers, singers, witnesses etc.
After the Ceremony
I will submit the marriage documents to Births, Deaths and Marriages (BDM) to finalise legalities. I also help out by sending an application for the official BDM certificate which is now required by many organisations for change of name. All that’s left then is to have a great honeymoon and send me some photos when you return. I can’t wait to hear all about it!
